Winterhawk recently asked SAP’s Hussen Raza, GRC, Digital Core & Solution Sales for the UK, for his views on SAP Identity Management (IDM). We posed the question:
“With Digital Transformation driving an organisation’s adoption of more systems and applications, how does Identity Management solve the problem of managing appropriate user access for changing employees and external workers?”
Hussen’s reply:
“The average employee has between 20-40 user accounts for different business systems and applications. This not only poses a significant problem for the end user, but also for functions such as IT and HR, whenever an employee or external worker changes jobs or leaves the organisation. Identity Management resolves this disjointed Joiner / Mover / Leaver process and results in users being provided the right access at the right time, shifting the manual burden away from IT and improving security by deprovisioning access quickly once the user has left the organisation.”
Why SAP Identity Management?
Because the ID management software lets you grant and manage user access to heterogeneous applications – securely and efficiently.
