About Corey Jacobsen: Corey is one of the rare breed of professional elk callers who lives for the “real” contest that takes place in the fall, especially on public land. Early season elk hunting is his passion and it’s been that way for twenty three years. He’s a pro staffer on several companies including Hoyt and Sitka Gear and he’s a regular on the Extreme Bulls Video series. Corey is a popular seminar instructor and stories of his successful hunts have frequently appeared in major magazines like Eastman’s Bowhunting Journal, Western Hunter Magazine and Trophy Hunter Magazine. Corey, his wife Jennifer and three children live in Boise, Idaho where they run the popular Elk Hunting website, Elk101.com.
