Winterhawk's
Outfitter's Guides and Packers School is approved by the Colorado
Department of Higher Education as a licensed vocational school,
offering training in the fields of guiding and packing and
knowledge of the entire outfitting industry. In Colorado,
any vocational or employment training school must be licensed
and approved by the Colorado Department of Higher Education.
Winterhawk
is a highly successful, professionally run outfitting business
and we're committed to providing the same quality standards
in our school. But the truth is, just as we tell our clients
that their hunting success depends on their attitude, and
how hard they're willing to work, the same is true for you.
We have the knowledge and experience to teach the job skills
you'll need to be successful. But when it's all said and done,
your desire and commitment to learn will be the key factor
in determining your success.

| We
can furnish names, phone numbers and addresses of guides
and outfitters in Alaska, Canada, and the U.S. who are
always looking to hire good people. Because the country
we operate our outfitting business and school in is so
high and remote, most of it does not open up until the
first part of May. Therefore, we cannot offer classes
before mid-May. This country is some of Colorado's highest,
remote scenic country and is the type of country you would
expect to be in when you attend a school like this. It
is for sure a traditional operation of the highest quality.
Students should plan on arriving at the Indian Cliffs
Base Camp by 4:00 p.m. before the first day of class to
get settled in and have quarters assigned. |
