Winterhawk's Outfitter's Guides and Packers School is approved by the Colorado Department of Higher Education as a licensed vocational school, offering training in the fields of guiding and packing and knowledge of the entire outfitting industry. In Colorado, any vocational or employment training school must be licensed and approved by the Colorado Department of Higher Education.
The school offers a six week course of study and training during July, August, and September. The program is available to students who are seriously committed to a career in the wilderness, horseback outfitting business.
