INDIAN CLIFFS BASE CAMP
Indian Cliffs Base Camp is the hub of our operation, and it has many of the comforts of home. It’s located at the end of a rugged four-wheel drive road, just a quarter mile from the edge of the Flat Tops Wilderness. This allows easy access to the wilderness and the ability to drive to camp.

Our guests, who come to ride, take photos, sightsee and fish, have hundreds of miles of mountain trails to explore from this camp. Some of our day rides from base camp include: Island Lake, Bailey/ Keener Lakes, Sunnyside Lake/Dome Peak and Dome Peak/Middle Derby Creek rides.

ISLAND LAKE BASIN PACK-IN CAMPS
Island Lake pack-in camp is in the heart of the spectac-ular Flat Tops Wilderness at an elevation of 11,200 feet. It’s a four-hour ride from base camp up Middle Derby Creek. Memories of a lifetime are made here. Guests are surrounded by the unspeakable beauty, peace, and tranquility of the vast wilder-ness as they experience the traditional timberline camp lifestyle.

Views from camp are spectacular and include Sheep Mountain and Derby Peak. From camp, we can take you to the perfect spot for a once-in-a-lifetime photo. You may also have the opportunity to photograph elk, bighorn sheep and bear in their natural habitat. The meadows alive with the blooms of high country wildflowers are beautiful.
